Sorry about the double post everybody. I got an error message and did it again. Just wanted to make sure nobody thought they were seeing double ;) Post a progress report tonite!
This little bugger (pardon the pun) seems to have invited a friend over for the fall.

This is a Black Eyed Daisy Vine.

When we got it earlier this year it was maybe 4 inches big. It's had a good year!
As have these Petunias which ar located next to our mailboxes.
These took off over by the mail boxes under Steph's guidance.

For all of you who have moved away to far off lands...
Fall is once again upon us!
Our Rosie standing in front of a few new flower beds by the pool.

Had to extend the flower beds out, because you just never have enough room.

Finally got around to cleaning out the last vestige of wilderness that remained on the property. I put in this platform for a new shed, but don't tell Rosie she thinks it's a stage for her to perform on!

This is called a Toad Lily. I have waited all summer for this and another species of it that I have to bloom. I have to say I was not disapointed! WOW!

Pictures of the last of the flowers (almost) and little peanut butter face hamming it up!

Minxie and our newest addition Noodle, kicking it on the bench.

Our little Ella-Jean on her first day of school.

This tropical guy showed up sitting on our tri-colored honeysuckle.

Sure packs a lot of color in such a small package. Anyone have any clue as to what he is?

Hey thought I'd share a couple of pics today from this years garden.Tiger lilies handed down to me from my parents.
One of this years new additions, a Yellow honeycomb Butterfly Bush. This plant attracts so many wonderful creatures, it's truely amazing to sit and just watch it.
My little Ella Jean, hard at work at her studies.

My Dad, (a.k.a. Michael Gante, a.k.a. Opi, a.k.a Papi) hunting aligators on a side road in the Everglades southwest Florida.
Here are Rosie and Ella Jean with thier cousins at Omi and Opi's house earlier this summer. That's Gabriella (Oldest), Nina (rosie's age), and Eva (who has tos be the closest thing to EJ's twin that there can be. We all had a great time.

"Never forget how precious a gift today is, thats why it's called the present."
I found that scribbled on a small piece of paper on the floor of my car and thought I'd share.
This is a tri-colored Honey Suckle vine. I actually grew this vine from a 3 cuttings I got earlier this year from our friends Kieth and Elaina. I really want to use it to cover a pergola (thanks for the correction Papi) that I'm constructing by our iris garden.

It's actually kind of wonderful that it actually bloomed after only half a summer to recooperate! I can't wait for the spring.
